How to Use Concrete Bonding Adhesive?

A concrete bonding adhesive is a construction adhesive used to adhere new concrete to old concrete. It is also used to adhere masonry to concrete.

The adhesive is applied to the surface of the old concrete and the new concrete is then placed on top of it. The adhesive bonds the two surfaces together.

There are two types of concrete bonding adhesives: waterbased and solventbased. Waterbased adhesives are typically used for indoor applications.

Solventbased adhesives are used for outdoor applications. Concrete bonding adhesives are available in different strengths. The type of adhesive you use will depend on the application.

For example, a stronger adhesive is needed to adhere new concrete to old concrete than is needed to adhere masonry to concrete.

To use a concrete bonding adhesive, first clean the surface of the old concrete with a wire brush or power washer. This will remove any dirt, dust, or debris that could prevent the adhesive from bonding properly.

Next, wet the surface of the old concrete with a hose or spray bottle. This will help the adhesive to bond better. Then, apply the adhesive to the surface of the old concrete with a brush or roller. Be sure to apply the adhesive evenly
