Why Was Mount Rushmore Built to Honor the 4 Presidents?
Mount Rushmore is an iconic landmark that has been carved into the granite of the Black Hills of South Dakota. It depicts the faces of four of America’s most influential presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.
